Hood Canal Bridge will be closed for the months of May and June 2009. Visit us for a stay of 4 or more consecutive nights, and recieve your room plus breakfast each morning for $75 per night before tax, any room, Sunday – Thursday. This discount will apply to May & June only.

For those that don’t already know, I took a spill on September 3rd, (stepped on one of the dog’s bones!) and did a goodly bit of damage to both feet – broke one and severly sprained the other ankle, torn ligaments and all… I’ve been off my feet for 5 weeks now, and John has been shouldering the whole load, along with some part time help from the girls! He has been so great, fixes all the breakfasts by himself, including all my meals too!! This has been a frustrating situation for us all, and we would so like to thank all our guests for their understanding and good thoughts!
I hope to be back on my feet somtime in the next 3-4 weeks, don’t know how much help I’ll be, so far I’ve been supervising from a wheelchair…done a lot of reading al well…. again thanks to all !

A really fun place to visit when in Port Townsend is our local corner market, Aldrich’s. Located in Uptown, just 3 blocks from Blue Gull Inn, it’s a great place to look for unusual snacks and treats.
This is such a great place to visit, and if your lucky enough to live. Having the water, trees and mountains surrounding you….bridges and ferries….beaches, camping, hiking, boating…loads of out door activites and a moderate climate. People that love the great out doors, this is for you!
While your visiting Port Townsend, dinner at Lanza’s is a must! This is one of the local favorites – just 3 blocks from the Blue Gull Inn in Uptown Port Townsend. Great atmoshpere and fabulous food!
