From Seattle At Colman Dock (Pier 52) , take the Seattle-Bainbridge ferry to Bainbridge Island. Take State Route 305 north/west about 13 miles (past Poulsbo) to State Route 3 north and follow the signs 7 miles to the Hood Canal Bridge. Take a left and cross the Hood Canal Bridge. The sign for Port Townsend is about .5 mile ahead. In 5 miles turn right on State Route 19 (Beaver Valley Rd.) toward Port Townsend. Continue about 22 miles to the town of Chimacum. Go straight after the 4-way stop on State Route 19. 7 miles south of Port Townsend State Route 19 joins with State Route 20. Follow State Route 20 into town.
From Portland and Points South: Take I-5 north to Tacoma, then Hwy.16 west to Bremerton, Hwy.3 north to the Hood Canal Bridge. After crossing the bridge continue on Hwy.104, until you see the Port Townsend exit. Take a right turn, and you’ll be on Hwy.19. Follow this to Hwy.20 (intersects at the Ford Dealership - 4 way stop light) which will lead you into Port Townsend.
Alternate Route from Portland and Points South: Take I-5 north to Olympia, then Hwy. 101 north to Hwy. 20 north. Hwy. 101 is a very scenic way to see the penninsula, passing through Shelton, Brinnon and Quilcene.
From Vancouver, Canada and Points North: I-5 south to Highway 20 west turn off. Follow signs to and through Oak Harbor (on Whidbey Island), to Keystone Ferry, to downtown Port Townsend. If during summer after 3pm use Edmonds ferry to avoids delays.
From Edmonds/Kingston Ferry: Take the Edmonds/Kingston ferry, once on other side travel to Highway 104 across Hood Canal Bridge and follow signs to Port Townsend (Hwy. 19, Beaver Valley Road).
From Forks, Port Angeles and Sequim: Take Hwy. 101 toward Port Angeles and Sequim. Take the Hwy. 20 exit to Port Townsend and Port Ludlow. Follow Hwy. 20 into downtown Port Townsend.
Entering Port Townsend: On Highway 20 (Sims Way). Turn left at stoplight on Kearney Street. Turn right from Kearney on to Lawrence. Travel 9 blocks. At fire station, turn right on Harrison. Travel 1 block to Clay Street. Our Port Townsend Bed and Breakfast is located on the corner of Harrison and Clay Streets. (Big blue house, white picket fence)
